At Covera Health, we've demonstrated that advanced data science can prevent serious misdiagnoses which result in poor outcomes for patients and increased costs for payers. Using our proprietary framework, we've already helped tens of thousands of patients recover better, faster, and more affordably. We're now working with some of the largest healthcare payers in the country to impact many more patient lives.
We're looking for a talented Project Manager to join us in our fight to democratize access to high-quality, cost-effective care.
As a Project Manager, you'll gain a deep understanding of our product through close collaboration with engineers, data scientists, clinicians, and others inside and outside the company. You'll work with the Chief Software Architect and other engineering team members to help deliver the web services and applications that support our customers. In particular, you'll focus on:
Helping to gather project requirements through interaction with internal/external stakeholders.
Establishing timelines with key milestones needed to achieve project deliverables.
Assisting with defining and documenting project tasks.
Collecting and documenting resource/time estimates from engineering.
Tracking dependencies between team members and internal/external teams, and planning to ensure that dependencies will be met.
Tracking progress on a daily basis to help ensure we hit our milestones, and providing visibility of progress inside and outside the team.
Proactively identifying and raising any risks or potential problems with meeting deliverables.
Helping coordinate/run meetings between team members and internal/external teams.
We care about our work at Covera Health and expect you to care about yours. We like team members with attention to detail who strive to deliver high quality work (even when it's needed quickly) and who are continually learning (including learning from mistakes). It's important for team members to be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with others, including exchanging opinions in a constructive way.
As a Project Manager, you'll be a full-time employee with competitive salary, stock options, and great benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance (with premiums fully covered), FSA, pre-tax commuter benefits, flexible paid time off, and a nice office space. Most importantly you'll get to work with a great team of other smart, motivated people who are passionate about changing healthcare for the better!
